Affiliated Supporters Clubs "Flag Day"

Everton v Blackburn Rovers

Everton Football Club have asked all affiliated supporters clubs like ourselves if we would like to take part in the "Affiliated Supporters Clubs Flag Day" which will be before the kick off at the Blackburn Rovers home match on Saturday 16th April 2011.
Each supporters club will be asked to nominate two of its members and the reason for this nomination and submit a photo to be included in the match day programme. They will carry a flag (provided by Everton FC) around the Goodison Park pitch at approx 2.45pm. They must wait along the touch line of the Main stand facing Bullens Rd until the teams come onto the pitch to the sound of Z Cars.

ALSO.

In addition to the flag parade, they will be picking at random 11 mascots from 11 different supporters’ clubs to accompany the Everton team onto the pitch. The first 11 club names drawn at random will be able to put one child forward to be one of the mascots on the day.

*Update: ESCWARA have been chosen to provide a player Mascot.

* Special meeting*

Tuesday 12th April 2011 at 7.00pm
At
FINCH FARM

PLEASE FIND BELOW AN E-MAIL ADDRESSED TO ESCWARA TO EXPLAIN THIS MEETING AT FINCH FARM.

Hello Terry

I am the Media & Publications Manager at Everton and you may be aware that we have been embarking on a series of Official Visits to various Supporters Clubs around the country.
Basically, myself, Graeme Sharp and Robert Elstone are joined by a first-team player and another club official and we have a Question & Answer session with the attendees.
The floor is open for members to ask anything they want of us and we always bring some signed merchandise to raffle on the night.
The events tend to last for a couple of hours and they are an excellent way for the club to interact with our supporters.
I would like to suggest a visit to the Widnes and Runcorn branch.
Do you think it would generate sufficient interest amongst your members?

I look forward to hearing from you shortly…

Kind regards,

Darren Griffiths
Media & Publications Manager
